All-round Development:
The Sunshine Coast Institute of Football is devoted to provide an all-round and continuous player development program. We cover every aspect of the ‘World Game’ and provide progress for field players and goalkeepers in every age group, as well as the coaches.
The First Touch and High Tempo:
At SCIF the players will be developing skills such as first touch and ball control, passing and shooting. Our main focus is to improve technique, but always on the move and
never for itself. Our training sessions are strictly planned, they run in high
tempo and encourage our young players to constantly achieve. We wear a uniform,
but our unity comes from the common attitude, which starts with an unexpressed
agreement: football comes first during our sessions. We love and respect this
game.
Technique, Speed and Mentality:
Our development programs provide the needs of modern football which is about
technique, speed, mentality. If a talented or devoted player undergoes this
process and gains experience, we will reach a new level of football in
Australia. We look after the community players and we take care of their talents
to help them to reach their highest possible level in amateur or professional
football. We offer advanced and development courses to help everyone to
challenge his/her boundaries.
Special Attention:
The Sunshine Coast Institute of Football development program guarantees the
success through their employees: the program is designed by our UEFA A license
Technical Director (TD) and every member of the coaching staff is licensed and
continually works on their expertise. We insist on the best learning
environment: one coach is allocated to every 10 players and usually an extra
learner coach helps your team coach, while our TD supervises the entire training
operation.
Follow a Dream:
As we have designed our development program we were engaged with the superior European standards but we are following an Australian dream. We want to make our players dream to compete for Australia as one of the World’s best sides. We always present them with the bigger picture: how to play possession football and how to perform in an
attacking style. Our dream is to know a player(s) in the Australian National
Team when we compete at the 2022 World Cup, hopefully on home soil.
Knowledge and Structure:
Being a non-professional organisation we can offer more for our players then most of the private academies do. We put all our profits back into football to develop our fields,
equipment, training tools and coaches. And we are sure to focus football on the
youth level, it is not about money, but about knowledge and structure.
Thinking in TEAM:
That is why we don’t want to be alone: we build contacts toward universities, football governing bodies, sponsors, local communities and football clubs to work together for common benefits. The successful player development comes from our approach, which you are advised to try if you want to take part with enjoyment of the World’s unique
game.
